I recommend watching this video of my pal Chad playing a song in a tunnel under Glendale Blvd in LA for an idea of how he works. His albums are carefully crafted lo-fi folk/pop/noise deals with full and varied instrumentation, and his live shows are usually like the video but maybe with a delay pedal or two.
Chad will be playing at SXSW this week and I’d love to give you details as to where and when, but I don’t think he knows yet. We were talking about my coming with him for a Northeast tour ending up in Minneapolis next month, but as yet those plans have fallen apart.
